Ivan Kenneth Nielsen.. Midway, Utah

Ivan Kenneth Nielsen, age 92, passed away Monday, June 12, 2006, at home in Midway, Utah. He was born June 14, 1914, in Ferron, Utah, to Carl E. and Agnes Rassmussen Nielsen. Married LaVer Jensen October 3, 1936; later solemnized in the Manti Temple. Ivan was an active member of the LDS Church. He was a farmer and raised cattle in Clawson, Utah. Ivan loved horses. Some of his favorite pastimes were spent with family and close friends with music and singing.

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, LaVer; four daughters: Helen (Tom) Griswold of Elko, NV, Ronda (Ray) Hult of Midway, Susan (Jim) Young of Taylorsville, Rebecca (Marvin) Johnson of Taylorsville; 20 grand and 32 great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

Funeral services will be held Sat., June 17, 2006 - 2:00 p.m. in the Midway LDS 1st Ward, 250 East 200 South, Midway, Utah. Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. prior to the services at the LDS Church. Interment will follow in the Midway City Cemetery.
