Lenora Ludvigson passed away on July 11, 2011. She resided at 1049 South Cheyenne Street (1535 West) in the Glendale neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah at the time of her death.
She was born September 10, 1919 in Altonah, Utah to Lott and Mary Jane Burgess Powell. She was the last born of ten children.
She married Clinton Peter Ludvigson on May 3, 1946 in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death. Lenora was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
She was an active member of the LDS Church, and served in many callings. She loved making quilts, canning, and cooking for her family and many friends. She loved camping, and family get-togethers. She was an avid fan of the Utah Jazz.
She is survived by her children, Kirby, Terry (Sharon), Gary (Jolene), Paula (Ken) Cloward, and Cathy (Bryan) Reed; eighteen grandchildren; thrity great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by son-in-law, Scott Higgs; two granddaughters, Christian Higgs and Courtney Higgs Lovato; and nine siblings.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West). A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2011 at the mortuary, and also one hour prior to the services.
Interment will be in the Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.
