| Media Notes | Milwaukee - Reunited with her cherished husband Richard Warner Kolden on July 24, 2021, at the age of 87. Beloved daughter of the late Alvin and the late Mabel Graf, and sister to James (late Judy) Graf, Patricia (Robert) Sterle, Thomas (Kathy) Graf, and Susan (Doug) Abbott. Dear mother of Karen (Keith) Powell, the late Debra (late Thomas) Friede, Patricia (Paul) Witkowiak, and Kristine (Gary) White-Kraeger. Blessed grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 12. Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Lois was a treasured sibling and the oldest of 5. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother first and foremost. There was nothing more she loved than sitting amongst her family at reunions, birthdays, and special events. On her 4th of July birthday, she was known for saying "the whole country celebrates my birthday!". On her last birthday, her wish was that everyone she loved find happiness. She was an avid gardener and became well known for tending to her orchids. She loved to read novels, the daily paper, bird watch, complete word games, and attend Bible study. Lois was intelligent, quick-witted, independent, and had a meticulous nature. She will be missed more than mere words can express. Memorial gathering at Witkowiak Funeral Home, on Friday, July 30, 2021, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM with a service at 6:30 PM. https://www.jsonline.com/obituaries/mjs047809 |
